The National Target Rifle (TR) Teams Matches stand as the premier domestic team event on the NRAA calendar for both Open and Under-25 (U25) divisions.
 
This event forms a critical component of the Australian National Championships selection pathway. State teams from across Australia will compete.

  • All rounds 2 & 10 to count unless otherwise listed
  • ET scoring delay of 5 seconds will be applied
  • Disciplines: TRA, TRB, FSA, FO, FTR, Sporter (PCO, Muzzel breaks approved)
  • Min. 3 competitors in a class to award prizes/badges
  • Current SSRs apply. Ammunition must comply wtih SSR. Current NRAA grading card verifying affliation must be produced 
  • Consumables and equipment available for purchase by pre-order prior to the event

The National Sporter & F Standard Championships 2026 will be held at Wellsford Rifle Range, Bendigo, Victoria, hosted by the Victorian Rifle Association over the weekend of 31 October–1 November 2026.

 

Dates and program

  • Saturday 31 October 2026 – Short Range Championship
  • Sunday 1 November 2026 – Long Range Championship

 

Venue and host

  • Wellsford Rifle Range, Bendigo, VIC
  • Hosted by the Victorian Rifle Association under NRAA Standard Shooting Rules (SSR’s)

 

Event details

  • Saturday: Short Range Championship – 2 sighters and 10 shots at 500, 500, 600, 600 yards
  • Sunday: Long Range Championship – 2 sighters and 10 shots at 900, 900, 1000, 1000 yards

 

Awards and checks

  • Awards include range medals, daily aggregate medals and NRC badges
  • Equipment and ammunition checks will be conducted, with NRAA SSR’s applying throughout the championships

 

Disciplines

  • F Standard A (FSA), F Standard B (FSB), Sporter (SP) and F Standard Open (SO) as per VRA/NRAA classifications
